Notes on the Video

This is a video of the repair of a fresh-water tank from a ATC Aluminum Trailer. The tank drain fitting hangs precariously close to the ground and was torn off when it scraped on the gravel road as it traveled through a rut. The drain fitting and threads were pulled out of the tank which left a hole.

JB Water Weld was considered as a possible adhesive to fix the tank but was not pursued because it will not adhere to a polyethylene tank.

Thanks to Scott, Jesus, Jesus and Hulio at Ronco Plastics for demonstrating how spin welding is used to patch and re-surface the tank.
